Testimonials
Working with Shaya Collective has been a pleasure. I worked with them most recently on a Department of Labor DEIA project. We were charged with bringing innovative ideas to apprenticeship programs on how to invest in disadvantaged communities. Shaya Collective created thought-provoking content for apprenticeship leaders that helped challenge the status quo and implement ways to make sustainable change in the community and recruit more people from marginalized communities.
Shaya Collective has organized numerous educational trips for my firm. We embarked on a journey to Egypt and Israel with this company. We learned so much enriching and cultural information that helped us transform how we see the world and ourselves. We also attended a trip to Italy with Shaya Collective. This trip added to our understanding of how to interact with those from an Italian background and eliminate some American-based stereotypes around their culture, which created better teamwork.
I have worked personally with this organization on youth training and affordable housing. I have seen this organization go in firsthand and create affordable housing opportunities for those in need. I have also seen how they have helped youth in the community by opening doors to different employment opportunities that have helped them become self-sustainable, a massive need in society today.
I have attended a few trips with this organization, but one of the most exciting trips was to Bequia. They always seem to find paths less traveled. This trip changed the way I understand the Carib culture and provided me with the opportunity to self-reflect and understand ways I can become a better leader.
